So I bought a 2014 kx85, I rebuilt the top end, cleaned the power valve and set it to spec. It has a pro circut pipe with silencer with new packing. It also has v force 3 reeds, (I sprayed starting fluid around reeds no leak) stock jetting is apparently 135 main 38 pilot. With the pilot at 38 it surged and would not start when warm. Bumped it up to a 42 pilot with 3/4 turn out which fixed my idle issue. My question is the main. Pro circut says a 140 main which I did at clip 3. It cleaned it up a bit, I then put a 145 main in it now it goes in the power band 2nd or 3rd gear. But not 1st should I really go up to a 150 main to clean it up? I also took the powervalve cover off and it's engaging.
