I have a 1995 250exc and am shipping it to Hawaii. It is currently jetted for Colorado springs 7000-9000 feet. I do not have the books for the Bike as i bought it used. So if anyone could help me out on what the jetting should be for sea level to 1000ft. 75-85f average temp. I know the Carb is a keihin pwk39. I just need in the ball park. Thanks

I don't have it for your year/carb, but this is what I do have...

2004 KTM 250 EXC, KEIHIN PWK S36 AG
79 - 98 degree's F, sea level - 1000 ft
Idle Jet - 35
Needle - N3EH
Position - 3
Main Jet - 160

For 61 - 78 Degrees F, it all stays the same except use a 162 - MJ.

I just noticed the 2004 KTM 200 SX has the same carb (KEIHIN PWK 39)

79 - 98 degrees F, sea level to 1000ft
Air Screw Open - 1.5 turn
Idle Jet - 48
Needle - R1468G
Position - 2
Main Jet - 190

61 to 78 degrees F, sea level to 1000 ft
Air Screw Open - 1.25 turn
Idle Jet - 50
Needle - R1468G
Position - 3
Main Jet - 192

I hope this helps. I don't know mch about carbs, this is just right out of the book...

I don't have a KTM, but speaking from experience. We jet a size leaner than Westcoast at sea level, that is because of the high humidity. If you are jetted with 1mm band on your plug you should be ok. If you are jetted rich, I would go one size down on the main and pilot. The big factor here is the humidity. Hope this helps.
