I ride a 02 cr125 which was re-sprung (pro-action) for a lighter rider. Sorry I do not have the spring rate for this setup. Bike is setup for probably 140lb rider. I weigh 170. I have the stock springs for shock and forks. I understand that the stock may be a little too stiff for my weight. What should I do, stay with the soft or go with the stiffer? I ride MX but am not a pro. I case jumps and often feel like the fork is bottoming... I know I need to work on the casing thing! Any help would be appreciated.

stock springs are usually good for 150-170lbs so it sounds like they will work well for you. just add a couple of clicks rebound and you should be good to go. if your fork is bottoming, add 10mL of oil to each for until the sensation goes away

Thanks for the help. I wouldn't have thought about increacing the rebound since I am lighter, good tip. Thanks again.
