OK, I may be risking my life and reputation here, but I would like some advice on getting the wife a 4 wheeler. She cannot ride a bicycle, so there is little or no chance of her ever riding a dirt bike. Still, I do not want her to miss out on the fun, and she is keen to try out a 4 wheeler. I am thinking about getting here one with auto clutch, say a Kawasaki Lakota 300 sport, or Suzuki LT160 or even a fully auto Yamaha Breeze 125.

I thought I'd ask here first before I went hunting for an ATV forum, besides, I did not want to run into the crowd who would suggest a banshee or ex etc.

All suggestions and advice will be greatly appreciated.

My neighbor has a honda 300 he bought it so his wife and daughter could ride. It has the auto clutch. Even he has a blast on it.

You know I hear they got nitrous kits for the Banshee.:p :p .

I'm not really familiar with the different models of four wheelers these days but I'll throw my two cents in anyway. The point is to get her out there and let her have fun. I rode four wheelers for years and yes, they can be fun. I didn't have any trouble changing gears but if you think she would be more comfortable with a completely automatic model than I think that would be ok. Again, the point is for her to be comfortable and enjoy riding.

My advice, take her to the bike shop and let her sit on the different models. Let her decide. I know that Honda does make a completely automatic model so I'm sure other's do as well.
