Ok, I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get a new bike next year b/c of my job/school/work in the industry (kind of slow right now), but if I were to get one, I'm torn between the 450 and the 525. I race hare's and trail ride, but I'm pushing 275. Last week I got to ride a KXF 250 and I loved the smoothness in the woods, but as soon as I got out into the open, I really needed more power. Last year, I got to ride my buddy's 400 MXC w/the 453 big bore kit and I really didn't notice that much more power than my current steed until I hit the straights. I'm guess my main concern is if the 450 won't be enough and/or the 525 will be too much. Any thoughts?
BTW, I know this 'dream' purchase may never come to fruition, but maybe someone else will get some benefit out of this.
