78' ts125 Oil Tank

OK, Just Bought the bike! Were not sure on this oil injection. There is a tank for filling some type of oil under the seat. Are we to put motor oil in this tank or is it for the 2 stroke fuel mix.(Hints oil injected they should be more specific.) There is a site glass on the side. Also if this helps, there is a tube that runs down from the bottom of the tank that drops down to the engine casing near some type of contraption, where the the throttle cable after it why's off from the main cable to the carb, is connected. Please help!!!!

That is your oil injection tank, it will take 2 stroke oil.

the cable runs to thepump and controls how much oil goes in when you hit the throttle that also opens the pump allowing more oil to go in to the engine. sometimes the go bad so check it and listen to the motor if you hear scraping or when you kick it and there is unwanted resistance then just run mix

Thanks for the quick reply, Would anyone know how to prime the pump to get good flow, or test it to see if its working?

Also, If I was to bypass the pump, whats a good ratio of premix to run at?
