83 KDX250 swap flywheel to Ricky Stator

Hi, my 83-250KDX flywheel is toast. Will the flywheel and stator Ricky Stator sells for the Tecate3-4 work? Seems the stator harness is a little short. Anyone successfully do this swap? I've done a search and read about a few people here in the same situation but no followups were made on their swaps. I've e-mailed Ricky Stator and he hasen't replyed yet (3 days).
