85 KX 500 piston

Old Dino needs a new piston. I can buy rings at the dealer, But the piston is been discontunied. Wiseco quit making them years ago. Kawasaki does not have a nation wide dealer search, so its up to me to find one. I need some help! Can you guys check the dealers in your area, and check stock for me?

hmm to bad you did not mention the year? but pro-x make them for 85-04 kx 500's thats the whole kit gakets,clips,rings,bearings,connecting rod etc..

Reward!!

I am back to looking for a piston. Bike bandit does not have them. PLEASE! next your in the Kawasaki dealer, ask for me. Its a 1985 KX 500. I need the piston. I have a $50.00 finders reward!!!

The 85 is a stand alone year. 86 & 87 are the same and 88-04 are the same. And 80-84 are the same. Thats why Im having such a problem. I bought this bike new in 85, I had no warning that it would be the only year.

kawasaki does have a nationwide dealer search if your dealer has the online KICS programs I found a 1974 kx 125 piston from a stihl chainsaw/kawasaki equipment dealership out in south dakota about 2 years ago so you might have some luck
