87 kdx 80

just got a new (to me) 87 KDX80 :ride: . its in semi decent condition. runs good when wide open, but it doesnt have an air box or filter :bang: . when your not running it in the top end it sputters alot also, but the plug is brand new. i was just wondering whats a good site to get aftermarket and OEM parts for such an old KDX?

Look on the Kawasaki parts diagrams to see which other airboxes have the same part number, then look on eBay for a used airbox. You are destroying the engine with all the grit you are force feeding into the engine.

Uni, No Toil and others may make an aftermarket filter.

yeah dude, its an 87. im not too worried about something worth 200 bucks. id be more worried about my 97 cr250 :cool:
