92 CR500- my new toy

I just picked up a 19992 CR500, but it didn't come with a manual. I really need to know the proper premix ratio, and how tight to run the chain. I'd like to take it for little spin this weekend. Any help is appreciated.

Good question: I mix my KX500 @ 50:1 using BelRay MC1. I'd say 32:1 4 ounces to a gallon to be safe until you get a feel for the jetting.

I run 50:1 with motul supersynthetic and vp c-12 and the bike loves it.

40:1 Maxima 927 w/93+ pump gas works well in my 94 CR500.

I run Maxima 927 at 44:1 with premium pump gas. It works well and 927 smells awesome!!!!!!

The manual says 32:1, but if you use a good oil 40-50:1 should be fine. You will find that you don't need to rev it hard anyway, you lucky beast.
