I bought a 96 CR125 from a guy who had bought it used and didn't know anything about the engine and any mods it might have done on it. The bike screams on the top end but it doesn't have much low or mid range power. It has a Bill's pipe, 13T front and 53T rear sprockets and a 100/100-18 tire. I looked at Bill's website and there is very little information there. Apparently you tell Bill's what you want the bike to do and they build you a pipe. Is there any way to tell what kind of pipe this is by looking at it? The info plate welded to the pipe is scratched up and all I can read on it is "LL'S". I would prefer low-mid range power.

I would rebuild at least the top end. If you have no idea how much time is on it, it is likely long overdue.

Bills has 2 part #'s for the 96 CR 125 pipe , the only difference is in the exterior finish .
I agree with Joe . Do your self a favor and rebuild the engine , then you will know what has been done !
