Has anyone found a solution for this problem?
The clutch on this '96 RM125 won't disengage fully.
I've put a new clutch kit in, filed the fingers on the clutch basket flat and shimmed the bearing under the pressure plate. Still, it won't disengage.
I read somewhere (dirtrider?) that a lot of suzuki's have that problem, and that a honda clutch lever would help, cause it pulls more cable or something. good luck:think
Is the clutch activating arm returning fully? Try starting the bike up in nuetral, let it warm up for a minute atleast and pull the clutch lever like mad for about 10 seconds and see how it does.
I have the same exact problem with my 96 yz125. I can start my bike in gear but it likes to take off so i have to hold the front brake. I was wondering the same thing. My clutch basket looks good. It seems that nothing fixes it.
_jokA_, are you talking about starting the bike before you ride it? If so it is normal for a bike not to start in hear when not warmed up. When the bike has been warmed up and been ridin then starting it in gear should be just like starting it in nuetral.
