I have a 1996 XR 250 and love it for what it is made for. I am just wondering if there is a way to improve the suspension on it. By no means am I talking about a motocross track or anything, but I do have occasional jumps around our hill that I like to go off but worry about hurting the bike. Is there any way I can stiffen the forks and/or the rear suspension?...or should I not worry about it? I'm talking roughly 2,3,4 foot jumps with not much of a landing. Thanks in advance. *Winter Rules*

First you need to ensure you have the correct springs for your weight, the xr's generally have very soft fork springs and stiffer ones improve them alot. Also you can add oil to the forks(in 10ml increments upto the max in the manual) to improve the bottoming control
