Acerbis MX Light Handguards?

Anyone tried these on the '04 CRF450? I got a pair for Christmas and can't seem to get the clutch side to mount properly. I received the '02-'03 specific mounting kit and the customer service rep said it would fit the '04 as well, but I can't seem to figure it out! They're really nice looking handguards and I'd like to keep them! Is the '02-'03 clutch bracket different than the '04?

I called the company I ordered them from and told them the problem (GMO). They called Acerbis while I was on the phone with them and Acerbis informed them that they have a kit for the '04-'05 model now. The new kit is in the mail and I'm a happy camper now...or at least will be when I get them and they fit!
