Adding starter to 400SX

Has anyone done this and what is the cost?

HGaither, I've seen Oldstroker's bike. He does a first rate job. He can give you good info. He has to he can't get his leg high enough to kick it over anymore.

yeah, my leg dont go as high as it used to go either.

400SX's require that you purchase the EXC ignition to charge the battery. The switch over is pretty easy if you have basic mechanical skills, installing wiring harness, starter clutch and intermediate gears......

Dirtrider did an article on this last year. There are a BUNCH of parts needed to make it work, but they all bolt right in.
