air chamber on wp forks (fork oil height)

ok here we go when you messure from the top of the tube
down to the fork oil is it with the springs removed and the
forks collapesd or is it some other way also what is the best distance for a 03 mxc 200 i done it the way mentioned above
on my 02 exc and they seem a little harsh (air chamber lenght by ktm manual) :coocoo:

Yes, springs removed and damber rod compressed and forks collapesed. After measuring, extend the out tube while holding the damper rod so as not to over extend and possibley dislodge the top bushing. Remeasure your oil height. Start of with 150mm airchamber and you can add 10mls at a time via the bleed screws to gradually raise the oil height if you prefer.

That's it.

When you're trying to figure out what's best for you, you should leave the maximum air gap. You can always add oil later through the air bleeders if you find that they're too soft.

1cc of oil = approx. 1mm of height
