I just wanted to post my experience with airbox lid removal .
I took my 2006 kdx 200 to a friend who has a Kawasaki Dealership as he has been telling me that it will make a difference . The bike is still as it comes out of the factory .
I was surprised how quick it was .
He removed the lid and cdi box .
Then used a bolt the same size that holds the cdi , heated it up and pushed it through the air box on the left side of the intake ( no need for drilling ) .
Mounted the cdi .
Then replaced the stock 160 main jet with a 165 .
and it was finished .
I was sceptical as I expected him to do more jetting or setting of air screw etc .
I tried the bike out in WOT runs and some slow technical riding .
It has made a difference in power everywhere .
Im happy with the result .
