I agree with you that the parents should be left out of this, the moron was 18 and made an adult decision - Kids under 18 inside USA have been tried as adults for heinous crimes and this should be no different..

BUT for this guy to blurb out an insanity plea at this point.. naaaa - My personal opinion is that every one of the Taliban are insane and think that we should kill every last one of them (NO SURRENDER)..

I understood that this fellow went to Afghanistan when he was 16.
His father stated he wanted to give him a little kick in the butt for not letting him know what he was up to.

The way I read it was he converted himself to Muslim when he was 16 and traveled to Pakistan when he was 18 to study abroad... He was studying the koran and met some people who told him about the Taliban movement and he made that decision to support them as an adult.. he left Pakistan and traveled to Afghanistan earlier this year... Probably before September 11...

I can honestly say i hate the Taliban more than anyone here.

Al Queda we all hate. They are two different groups though. Yes associatied ,but I highly doubt any of the Taliban knew what Al Queda was really up to. Remember we the US created the Taliban.Before Sept 11th they were not the enemy. Osama was! The Taliban became the enemy because the leaders decided to harbor Osama. And for that they should be punished.

From what is known one cell does not even know what the other cell is doing.

Now the Taliban are (*&(*&les!! I say kill them all. I say this more as a Muslim and a Human than just as an American!

The Taliban and other types have long raped our religion and Osama's followers are the ******* children of the rape!

This American Talib should be hung. Not for Sept 11th, but just for general stupidity. And for taking up arms against the US. You know the part that is irritating is they are just letting the Taliban soldiers go FREE!! SO the poor people still have to deal with the idiots! If we treated him as Taliban he would probably be allowed to go free too!

I doubt he ever fought an American when he was there. Lets not forget that all we (US) have really done in the war is drop bombs and a little air support. Most if not all of the fighting has been between the Northern Alliance and the Taliban. Both of whom are idiots! Also both of whom are Afghanis.

Now they "cant" find Mullah Omar!! (he is the dictator of the Taliban, he made the decision to fight America the rest do as they are told!)

Bull****! They have agreed to let him go much to the dismay of Donald Rumsfield , Mr Bush, the rest of America and especially me!!


Ok i have to take a break before I have an annurism! This stuff gets me all worked up!
