Amsoil shock therapy, could this be the stuff?

In another thread, I asked about blending Mobil1 ATF to a 5wt, and possibly a 4wt for the shock. I have also thought about using Amsoil, as it is a synthetic also, and seems similar to the ATF. It comes in 2 weights too, 5 and 10 I think.

Any opinions on the Amsoil in forks and shocks? One thing I did like about it is thier website, as it gives a list of the other oils out there, and shows whats comparible to what.

Amsoil has been OK in the forks. In the shock I hear it fades some.

I was looking at the properties for amsoil stm and mobil 1 atf funny thing is they are very similiar.

I an not an Amsoil oil user, actually this would be my first real use of the Amsoil brand. How does it compare to other oils out there? If it is not so good what are better oils in the forks and shock?
