I'm becoming more and more impressed with Reed every week. After passing KW he just motored away! It looked like DV was in the dumps with the way Reed came back and passed him for second and then into first and at that point it was bye bye.

After watching the first three SX races IMO the announcing is very lacking with out Bailey and has lost some credibility. Bailey had the ability to describe what was going on, not just announce it.

yeah, i am pretty impressed with reed passing k-dub, i think k-dub could have hung with reed had it not been for some mistakes but a very exciting race all in all.

It seemed like K-Dub was riding not to lose 1st, which he did. Not to take anything away from Reed, who kicked butt. Reed also mentioned that the track was good for both 2-stroke and 4-strokes, which is good.

All this talk about RC....I think he'll still be the one to beat next year, overall.

Man that was an awesome race!
I thought some of the camera work sucked though. Showing replays when passes are going on and such.

The announcing is sub-par at best. Those guys never give any of the unknown riders props, and they miss a lot of the action also. I noticed that neither Todd nor Cameron could identify #238 or #256 when they were running up front.

Really!!!

How about Brian Gray.. turned pro last years 125 outdoor season, factory suzuki ride this year. 3rd Supercross race ever made the final from the heat race, instead of the LCQ. And has made all three finals so far.

I guess they at least mentioned his name after the heat race..

in the second heat race they didn't even mention the last two riders to transfer. Whats up with that, they made the final and they couldn't even say Nye and Siebler's names.

Reed is just flat awesome, and I agree that he (and possibly Kevin) would be beating RC at this point.

James did a great job in the booth. Much better than RC. Man, that kid does no wrong.

Ya think so? I thought it was painfully to hear Bubba commentating. Not that I think thats where his carer is going.

I also thought Bubba struggled in the booth but he still had the comment of the night when RonRon took out Ramsey in the heat race "10 points"

He managed to get in a plug for Bridgestone, too.

Bubba was a far better commentator than RC could ever hope to be. Hell, he was better than both of those other two puds put together!

RC could be a good commentator he just stumbles over some of his words, his podium speeches are still twice as interesting as camroen's(sp?) announcing.

Amen on the Bring back Bailey.

I missed the RC stint, but if Bubba is considered that much better, RC must've been unintelligible. Bubba should keep letting his riding talent do the talking....

Maybe somebody slipped something in my coffee yesterday, but I thought the content of what he had to say was good. eg, when he was describing (I doubt with familiarity ;) ) what was going on with Preston toward the end of the 125 main.

I think we can all stop expecting utter 'announcer' smoothness from these kids that have been exposed to only father and family since the 'mini' days.

I agree. His comments about Preston were good, I thought. But most of the other stuff were just extremely jumbled, like you'd expect a teen to say to his buds (peeps, or whatever).

What lap did Reed LAP Brown at, I think it was the 11th. Crazy.
... TP says he is coming back to race SX at the St Louis race, I wonder how excited the Rock will be for that.

Incoming! Mike will need eyes in the back of his head to be sure Travis doesn't land on him again.

Call me stupid or whatever, but what team would TP be on if he came back? I looked at the Suzuki riders once and I dont remember seeing TP's name on it.
