The track was sandy as could be, no rain in forever.
The boy finished 4th overall in the beginner class after crashing in both mottos and working back up from near the back of the 15-20 riders. He also got his first whole shot in the open bike class by sneaking in on the inside of the first turn (finally got our money's worth on those lessons).
My race had a lousy turnout for some reason, just 8 guys in the 125 Beginner. I decided to go for broke trying to catch the leader (from 2nd) in both races and wound up on the ground in both cases finishing 2nd to last :|
