Any drummers out there?

My Daughter plays drums

I must be getting old, because I am not sure what kind of music they play. :)

I play trombone, not coordinated enough to play the drums. I play classical and jazz, but prefer jazz. Anybody ever heard of the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival in Moscow, Idaho? The school band I play in, Rossland Secondary School has won their class 9 out of ten times. Unfortunately we aren't going this year because of the teacher's strike in BC.

I hope your not as crazy as most trombone players are. Every one I played with was a nut case. LOL!!!

Lionel Hampton is great. I can listen to him and Benny Goodman all night.

Charley Christian was one of benny guitar players. That guy was great. Anybody know who Charley was?
