fury1,
If you have access to a machinist this is a great swap. Here is a list from an article on putting an 89 kdx motor into a 91 kx 125 chassis.
1. Cut the engine mount's out of the kx frame and weld in kdx mounts.
2. Heat and flatten the top portion of the right hand, rear bottom frame tubes.
3. Mill the head stay off the rear of the kdx cylinder head, machine a new head stay and mount it to the front three cylinder head studs.
4. Mill aprox. .250 inches from the thermostat housing on the kdx's head.
5. Machine a new inlet manifold for the kdx head to take advantage of the kx's superior dual water path.
6. Replace the kdx's water pump outlet elbow with a kx 250 elbow, part # 52014-1070.
7. Replace the kdx radiators with the kx parts.
8. Fabricate new head stay mounting plates, (head to frame tubes.
9. Fabricate new exaust system, a good welder can modify a kdx pipe to fit.
10. Assemble and ride.!
11. Post pic's and ride reports on DRN :)
