I will be moving to Baton Rouge in August of 08 and am looking for a place to ride at. I ride and or race tracks and am looking for a decent track to call home that is nearby. I kinda dont want to have to drive more than an hour all the time but would consider every now and then. I know of gravity mx in breaux bridge but thats at least 2 hours so its gonna have to be a once in a while type deal on that one. Let me know, thanks

The closest place to MX if still open is River Valley MX, I think that's the name. On the river south of Prarieville. They had a website at one time. I looked around on Google for bit and couldn't find it so maybe its not open anymore.

Getting from Baton Rouge to Breaux Bridge should take you no more than 1 hour tops. Probably 45 minutes or less depending on traffic - it's interstate the whole way.

There are great trails about 2 hours from Baton Rouge. Take I-10 to Lafayette(1 hour) and then I-49 north to Forest Hills(1 hour). Over 100 miles of single and doubletrack.
