I see that the motorcycle broker has kx250's for $3899. I figure the going price for a brand new never ridden kx250 in the cycle trader would be about $5000-$5400. Has anyone ever thought of buying the bikes and then reselling them for a profit? Seems easy.

i dont think you will be able to buy a bike like that and sell it for a profit, i tried with a 99kx250 carry over about 2 years ago,,expect to lose at least a 1000 bux. notice that noone is exactly snatching up the bike at 3899, and thats on a national advertisment.

have you tried to sell a bike lately?  the market is super-saturated.  People are under the impression that they HAVE to have a four stroke and that two strokes are on their way out.  The only thing that's selling right now is the latest and greatest four stroke models (which become obsolete as soon as the newer/lighter/bigger ones come out).

I have a CR250 for sale, and haven't even had one call at a price I think should be reasonable.
