I haven't been on the forums lately, working very hard to hope to get my bike in time for dw registration end. I will know in the next 3 days whether I get my new bike, got to go look at it and check to make sure the old 96 is worth $2000. I won't have much left or have time to get boots, knee guards, chest protector, elbow guards. I can wear blue jeans, helmet but i would feel much better with a chest protector and real moto boots instead of regular botos. Knee guards and elbow guards are last need but if anyone has any extras they might be able to bring to let me borrow or buy then I would appreciate it. I'm 5'8" 185 pounds. I'll let everyone know in the next few days if I get the bike. I hope its a winner cause I want to be at dirtweek.

How about Stan Flemings' XR600 in the For Sale Forum? Trust me, that is as clean a used bike as anyone would ever find.

I'm going to check it out right now, do you think it would be to big for a 5'8" to touch the ground at a stop? I'm not worrying about the power or anything, I know how to stay on my level with it. I'm going to check it out now, It would be great to buy from a fellow dirtrider

Okie, I just might have to kiss u when i get there. Seriously, I might if I wasn't a nice guy. At my job if I have a typo I can get fired so who would have thought a typo would have saved my ace.

Got a pair of Thor pants (36 in waist). They've got a little wear on them but still are in desent shape. I'll bring 'em to DW and they're yours if you want them. :thumb:

I don't know how big you are but I have a pair of O'Neal pants that have been worn twice, 32 waist and a medium shirt. Plus a brand new pair of gloves and HRP knee guards that are too big for me.

Thanks everyone for the replys, if you have something that might fit, bring it. I just sold my laptop so I can definately buy the xr600 for sale now. I'm in. Just got to paypal the money to okie.

jabroni1m,

Sent you an e-mail this morning about the XR600, please let me know ASAP, whether you want it @ Dirtweek, we are already delivering Stan's KDX200 there, which good ole dependable Tony is going to take up for us, now I have to find someone else in the D/FW area that can carry the 600, as Stans truck is a compact , 2 bike max will fit.

It will seem strange this year, to see all 4 of our bikes rolling around up there!

greenhorn those pants are perfect size and if you have them when you come that would be great

tdjok the knee pads would be good also to buy

senior, the boots are probably my best bet as well, i don't have time to buy all this stuff again so getting it there is good.

Just got me a helmet and ordered me some goggles and tearoffs

Now if only biglou's cp isn't to big, hmmmm i'm 5'8" 185lbs, I think it will work. That about sets me good if I buy all this stuff. Except the bike, got to get paid again before I can buy. I think i'm going to buy locally flemming, I don't have a way to get it home unless i dual sport it first. Trying to find a trailer now.
