This is a really fun and long course, if they run it the same way as they did when I went there two years ago. Nothing hard, just alot of fun. Mostly flat, and had some good woods, along with some fast open stuff. I would be going but I am going to Roselawn for the enduro. I would say don't miss it! The Brushproppers also put on a good event.

Everything Ryan said. I'd also be there but would rather ride the enduro.

If I remember right the course at that time was at least 8 miles long.

The Hare Scramble is a few miles north of Morrison,IL.
I am not sure what part of Wisconsin you're coming from but you can either come down I39/51 out of Rockford and head south to Rt88 and take it west to the Route 30 Exit and take Route30 west towards Morrison and then there should be signs heading North on either Lyndon Road or Route 78 out of morrison. Or you can come down Route 78 until just north of Morrison.
I have not been out to the course but it is the same locaction the club has used for the last couple of years. Nice loop with some woods sections, wide open field edges, and a couple of water crossings to keep it interesting.

I will be in Morrison also this weekend. I would ride along to Roselawn with Fredette but I'm not old enough to ride Enduros yet (this fall I will though, can't wait!!) Is the Hare Scrambles in Morrison going to be run like a cross country loop? 8 miles or so seem kinda long for what I am used to (usually 3-4 miles). Sound like theres going to be some open fields,?maybe crossing rodes?, to me it just sounds like the Moose/Spectro Run, just only 8 miles long. Any more info on the terrain and weather would be nice.
Thanks!

The course is all off road no road crossings, that I am aware of. And the course is no where near as difficult as the moose run, as long as there isn't a lot of rain your bike should still be running after the race.

As far as directions to the race when traveling west on I88 there are two exits from I88 to route 30. The first exit leads you into Rock Falls or you can continue down route 88 to the Clinton Ia exit and that also takes you to Route 30, it just bypasses the town of Rock Falls.

I believe it's peewe's at 10:00 minis next and big bikes at noon. Sign-up starts at 8:30.
Gusse is racing at Bush's on Spring Valley Rd. so if your coming from the south on either Rt. 78 or Lyndon Rd. you will see his signs first. We will be on Covel Rd. the next road north. The hills will be alive with the sound of dirt bikes!
