I know this is a dirt bike forum and not ATV, but I thought someone might shed some light on this. Arctic cat engine parts are hard to find (pistons rings etc.) except through a dealer. When my parts come from arctic cat they are in a suzuki package. It has a suzuki part # printed directly on the package and the arctic cat part# is a sticker added to the package. Does suzuki supply engines for arctic cat? I have tried to check the # to oem suzuki parts but nothing comes up. The arctic cat bore size is way off from any suzuki with similar cc's. Just something I keep wondering about and want to get off my mind.

I believe that Cat is starting to build a few of their own engines, but yes Suzuki biulds the majority. They have done this for quite a while in the snowmobiles and ATVs.
