Hey AZ riders DRN definitely needs a chapter here. Please post a reply so we can take a head count of local riders and get a chapter started. BTW I'm 40 miles west of Tucson in a small town called Three Points.

We have 2 now . . .

is that a chapter? Three points - pretty out there, but quite the drive from Tucson. I used to do alot of Quail hunting at elkhorn ranch area. I live in Tucson on the east side.:)

woohoo... make me #3!

I am in Goodyear, AZ. About 20 miles west of Phoenix near Buckeye. I agree that we need a chapter for Arizona as well.

I think 3 makes a chapter?

Also , if you are around the PHX area, are you a member of ST500's forum ? Some good info there and alot of rides I would like to get in on, but I live 2.5 hours away and to make some of those rides is kind of tough. I am going to try someday tho, when a big one gets underway. I am more of a moto guy, tho, so some of that stuff might beat me up since my suspension is kind of stiff for desert or enduro - but what the heck I would like to make it up there to " the tanks " for a ride one of these days. Here is the link - ST500's page

I frequent ST500's page and have ridden once out at the "Tanks" with a few other members:aj:

I live in North Scottsdale and ride a 2002 400MXC and a '99 380 EXC.

Hello all glad to see the replies. I know ridding with other DRN'ers would be worth a short drive for all.

I propose we set up a ride and pick cool name for tha AZ chapter.

I'm putting a new engine in truck as the old one is DOA.:( so it will be little
while before me and my bike are mobile.

Thank you yz250-effer it is nice out here and I can kick it ride from my house.
I don't get to the eastside but I hear it's nice out there to.

Please PM with any questions, suggestions or ramblings.
BTW I would really like to see this come together.

How bout the Desert DRN'ers or the Arizona Roasted Riders?

We also need a really good spot for the first outing.........

Any and all AZ riders can contact me at the E-Mail Address below.

Hey everyone, can we by chance save this annual ride for at least Sept. of 02? I'm down and out and doc says no riding till then. If not then I just might have to cruise out there and hang out w/ ya'll.

Baja Rick and Mototeer (like mousketeer) are Mesa members and we like the name of CACTUS JUMPERS and ROASTED RIDERS. Here are some other names to consider:
SUN STROKERS
SAND SCORCHERS
D'BACKERS
FLAME RIDERS
GILA MONSTERS
BUN BURNERS
INS PATROLERS
SCORPIONS
AZ RIM BENDERS
THE DRY HEATERS
THE AZ HEATERS
Just some random thoughts on a slow Thursday.

Dont forget us up here in the cool pines! Thunder Raceway has put together a track here in Show Low. Been to the Route 66 MX park in Holbrook too but it sucks. Think of riding on concrete with marbles spread all over!

Anyways, having lots of fun riding here!
