I'll take a stab in the dark here.  AX is indoor SX, MX is SX but smaller tracks?  The only obvious one is FMX :p

AX= ArenaCross, indoor very small supercross style track held in hockey style arena's at night.
SX= Supercross, indoor big "jumpy" tracks held in baseball type of stadiums at night.
MX= Motocross, outdoor natural terrain style track. Event held during the daytime.
FMX= who cares

i prefer nite racing. ;)

as far as the "you can't ride as good", i would guess there are maybe three fmxers that can beat billy on the track.

Where were you oldguy? Billy was doing laps, was at the back of the track. Kenny got on at the tower (3/4 of a lap ahead); took him less than 3 laps to get caught and passed. Seen it wit me own eyes.

Pastrana? I was thinking more along the lines of the guys who FMX full time. Travis is the exception, that's pretty obvious. I thought I heard that Metzger was going to run some Nationals last year? I would have liked to see how he fared.

Okie, Metz did pretty good for himself, I believe he won a qualifier, and did top 10 a race? But he crashed and broke his teeth and said enough, in an interview with racer-x he said he loves racing but FMX is where is heart was at so he quit early. However he still raced the "world of motocross" for New-zealand and did pretty good.

What was the deal with Metz riding for NewZealand anyways, was he born there or something? I've never heard of anything prior to that about him being born elsewhere.

Although I dont favor FMX or the metal mullisha, you might remember that Deegan won a 125 sx (the one he ghost rode the bike over). I dont know if that qualifies him or not, but I would imagine that he still could make some good lap times alongside Billy.

Haha, I remember that. Brian Deegan was talking about that the other day in an interview and how he beat Ricky Carmichael that race (I think it was that race) anywho it was just funny because he was just joking around saying that he beat RC therefore he was the best blah blah blah.... :)

I don't know about some of the guys, but Tyler Evans raced Pro and was district champion, seth enslow raced pro but I dont know of any championships.

PS. Lorin I really don't care for the mulisha :|

I watched as well when Billy was chasing down Kenny. Billy was making time on him like no tomorrow so Kenny pretty much pulled off cause it was making him look slow.;) It was all cause of that damn ping pong ball helmet I tell you. Give Billy a helmet with graphics and he's slower than molasses! Billywho=Samson(cut the hair and he's weaker than a 3rd grade girl)

Thanks for the run down folks. I just gotta throw in my opinion of the FMX (and mulisha... I don't care for the whole thug thing either but let's not be stereotypical... not all people who dress that way ARE that way). It reminds me of how a kick ass band evolves. They eventually put out a crappy album. They can't help it, they are evolving. For better or worse it happens. The sport is evolving, for better or worse. It can be hard to embrace, I understand.

I got some MX machine rag and I thought it was going to be all about the machines, nope it's all FMX. And it had a big interview with "Twitch". Looking at the pics and reading all the wanna-be-gangbang-thug crap disgusted me. I got over it in 5 minutes though; I don't know the dude, or his freinds. It could be a huge joke to them, or not. Doesn't make them bad guys though. It can be hard not to stereotype.

I'm new to it so I can't brag about the good old days or anything. I'm not afraid to admit I love watching FMX and wish I could do those things. FMX wasn't what turned me onto the sport, I've always wanted a bike since I was probably 6 or 7. Welp, I got me a job and finally got around to getting one when I was 21. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I'm not really bagging on it too much either, heck I'm friends with a lot of the guys, but the guys that push the look and attitude over the line kinda strike a nerve with me that's all. And yes I am at times guilty of stereotyping them together, and I shouldn't, I know I can't do that stuff like they can.

Sterotyping would be considering someone you've never heard from in the same group as others simply becasue of thier dress, looks, etc....
BUT when the person blatently throws out the disgusting wanna-be-gangbang crap, there is no more sterotype. You have exactly what they are about in front of you. It may or may not be a joke to him and his homies, but stereotyping is gone...he has defined himself. More often than not, those who act and dress the same are the same. Yes, that is stereotypical, to group those who haven't shown themselves yet, but birds of a feather DO flock together.
