B&M Trick Shift in CRF450

Hi Rich,
What do you think of B&M Trick Shift (Original or Synthetic) in the transmission of a CRF450?

I think it is a BAD idea. That's an automatic transmission fluid. I beleive the CRF450 is like most 4 stroke motorcycles in that the tranny shares the motor's oil.

Some two stroke riders do use ATF in their gear boxes, but I've never heard of anyone doing that with a 4 stroke.

Tranny and motor oils are seperate on the CRF's. Don't have any knowledge on using this type, however.

It works really well in the CRF gearbox, the only downside I can see is it's not always easy to find .

I used the synthetic version and changed after every third ride.

ive heard of lots of people using atf in there trannys with no problems. i use 20w50 gn4 for mine tho
