I'm back in the KDX game with a 2004 KDX220. I'll have to go thru it and set it up for me but's it's already has an FMF pipe and spark arrestor, fat bars and gripper seat, couldn't pass up the $750 price tag.

Had to buy it, wanted another 2-stroke for the fun of them! Best part about it, it's ready to ride!

Okay, now tell us what is wrong with it......
After a test ride I'll see....I'll go thru and set it up for me; tires I like, redo the suspension, gearing. People are just hurting on cash and a buddy knew this guy who needed a quick sale. :blah:

Ran good! :) Tires will be first, then next week order new fork and shock springs. The KDX is definitely easier to ride in some situations, but at times I wanted the power of my 450. The shorter wheel base and lightness were noticable. :ride:

Good buy. I searched all over Oregon recently for a KDX and ended up buying a 200 here in town for darn near double that.

Nice looking bike, good price. You may know this already, but the stock cast piston in the 220 is a weak point. They tend to drop skirts. May be worth popping the head off and make sure it's got a wiseco in there.

Threw a set on Bridgestone M403/404 on since I went into Motorcycle Superstore and they were only $110 for the set. ;)
I've used them before on 2-strokes and they work well, but my 450 eats them up after 4 rides. :(
