Backed into a tree this morning and put a dent...

in my bumper.

I have a 2000 Tacoma and fortunatly they have some pretty sturdy bumpers. I was turning around on my street this morning a slammed a tree. My question for all you do-it-yourselfers is how do I pull the dent out. It's not a curved part of the bumper but the bumper is Chrome. Do I need to take any precations with chrome. It's not that bad and if pounding the dent out my cause the finish to crack I will just leave it be. Anyone have expierence with this that can give me some advice.

Leave it be. It will never look like new. If it is rubbing the body or the tire or in some other way causing damage then I'd go ahead and try to pull it out.
