Who sells a battery powered enduro headlight?

I need a temporary solution since I have to wait on my e-line lighting kit for my '02 yz 250.

Thanks,

I went through the same thing.I used a headlight from a Suzuki DRZ (yes they are good for something;) ) and hooked it to a rechargable 9.5V battery from Radio shak that I mounted behind the headlight number plate. When fully charged I get over 1 hr of use.

Acerbis used to sell both a battery powered headlight and tailight. They used a 9 volt battery and had an on off switch. Not sure if they still make them.

If you are looking for a bright "glow" to be enduro legal (but not night worthy) Try a battery operated bicycle light behind an enduro number plate/lens. My wife has this setup with a trailer marker lens that has a "Maglight" bulb in it for a tail light. It even does work at slow speeds at night! She gets 8-10 hours out of the 2X C cells and it was way cheap!

If you're just looking to "pass" a tech inspection, you can wire up a cheap 9-volt battery. It won't last long, but it will work.

what i did with my yz426f is bought ufo head light,add-on tailight/brake light w/lic.plate holder found the smallest gel cell street bike battery i could find, mounted it to top of the air box (it hangs down inside)hooked up the head light and taillight through a switch so i can turn them off/on,then hooked the brake light up through a hydraulic switch on the rear m/c directly to the battery so it comes on when i put on the rear brakes on all the time, i did this because we some times get on the road to connect trails and if there are any police i may stand a better chance of getting away with it if i have a brake light.where i live it's very easy to get a regular title for dirtbikes and get plates so i am some what should i say legal.i do have to charge the battery pretty often if i run all the lights to long but i mainly use the head/taillight to pass tech inspection then turn them off leaving only the brake light to drain the battery when the brakes are on just an idea it works for me.
