Bclapham's First Ride in the Midwest (and a bunch of photos)!

On Sunday - while the pros were playing in the Southwick sand, we (Red, me, buko138 - still on crutches, her dude Donny aka The Mayor, and Chewy) met up with Bruce in the sticks and went riding at a sand practice track www.doublestuffracing.com . It had rained on and off all week so the track was in great shape - plus we pretty much had the place to ourselves.

It was Bruce's first time on a real sand track - so that was pretty cool. We all put in a bunch of laps and had a fun day. It was awesome to finally meet Bruce and gain a new Midwest DRN member and riding buddy! Can’t wait to go riding with him at some of the areas other tracks like Sunset Ridge, Red Bud, and Byron.

Here are some photos, I think Bruce might have more too. I freakin love the one of Bruce (RM) dragging his new Gaerne SG-10's through the big sand berm. AWESOME!! :cool:

Thanks Nikki: that sand was a blast. less than 10 min motos was enough for me though. I cant believe that we were the only ones there.

Yeah - I snapped that photo of Red right when he hit the ground as you can see the sand still moving, LOL. I think Donny put a nice body print in that sand berm too. ;)
