Wassupp folks...

I JUST started riding Dirt Bikes. Bought a used Yamaha TT-R 225. For the past couple of weeks it's been a pretty steep learning curve, but I'm gaining confidence with each run (woods, roads, jumps)

I'm not at all experienced like you guys but, I do plan to work my way up with experience and get much better, and hopefully work up to a 450. I signed up here so I can gain some knowledge and generally have some good conversations...

Let me express this, I have never rode a real dirt bike in my life until a couple of weeks ago, so I'm slow...

My name is Santana and I look forward to posting on this cool site...

;)

We are all slow at the beginning.

Welcome to the sport.

I bought my first motocross bike this year at 39 years old. I have been riding other types of bikes all of my life, but this is the first for me in MX. And I love it. I couldn't get this good of a work out at a gym!

Oh, and I got my first 2nd place today!! WHHHHOOOOOT!

Oh, that was also my 2nd race ever! It felt great!

And take it from me, you can learn alot from reading on this site.

Welcome ... don't let the learning curve become so steep that you fall off.

Welcome the more you ride the more you'll want to ride. This is a great site to pickup tips on riding and keeping your bike running well.
Glad to see your from NC maybe we will meet on a trail or at a harescramble sometime.
