Hi all,
i'm from NewZealand, and going to come over to the USA later on in the year for a little holiday, maybe july,August or september, which just happens to coincide with the AMA out door seies(well planned!!)
Want to know from any of you out there,What tracks and races are on the western side of the states in these months, and which one would you rate as better than the other from a spectators point of view??or not at all.And maybe what the weather is like around that time in that area,or anything else you would like to add.
Cheers guys. :)

Washougal!! I've not been there myself but, have seen it on tv and many pic's. A beautiful track with a stunning back drop of tall pines, grass and rivers and it's in the west coast state of Washington. The weather will likely be mild temperature wise. Im not sure about the actual scheduled date but i believe it's in August or September.
Hope you can make it

Binghamton,NY has got a really good view of most all of the track at once.......usually always has good weather in late August.
Haven't seen Red Budd.......maybe I'll put that on the growing 'to do' list for the summer!!

Washougal is a must see and a must ride if you get the opportunity. Natural terrain in the hills, generally mild weather during the end of July and really cool fans.

Glen Helen, anything else East bites.:) At Glen Helen you can sit up on the mountain that they climb up and down and watch the whole track too.

Washougal is incredible! Was there to see K-Dub beat RC a couple years ago. Lots of places to park yourself to view large portions of the track, "inside" and outside the track spectating, you can get as close to the action as you dare. Temps are not as mild as many may think, it can be pretty hot and muggy.
