Better Headlight on KTM

Anyone replace the headlight on a Katoom? I would like a light, I could actually use. I have been looking at the BAJA series. I think I would like something in between that and what I have now.

I am using an Acerbis DDH dual beam and have been pretty happy with it so far. Cost was around $70 . Good luck.

You could try a hyper white H-4 Bulb for about $15-$20 Do a search on eBay under KATANA and plenty will come up.

They draw like a normal bulb but utilize a different specttrum of light so they apper brighter. I run them on my street bike and they work really well. Much better than stock.

i agree my kdx light was alot better

Thanks for the replies, anyone have any preferance on which Acerbis light to use?

To help some, I switched the wires, so the headlight runs on the high beam rather than the low beam. I haven't tried it yet in the dark, but it sure lite up better in the barn.

If you have the coin ($$$$$) look at the HID lights from Baja Designs.

They cost an arm and a leg but OH MY GOSH what a light!
