Tell your wife right now!! That way there is no chance for her friend to do a 180 and get you in trouble for nothing. I would not worry about the long-term relationship between your wife and her friend. A true friend would not do something like this and I don't think I would want your wifes friend around my family anyways.

Is your wifes friend married? If she is tell her husband. That will fix her!!!

I highly respect and admire you; I hope people here on DRN have learned from your problem. I can offer no advice, as I am not qualified seeing how I am 16 and all. Tell your wife. If any of my friends hit on Henk and I found out
about it later, I'd be PO'ed (and wonder if he did do anything,
yeah, some of the trust would be gone or maybe all, I don't
honestly know). I don't need friends like that. Tell her if she needs
a challenge to find herself a gay guy & try her luck. Don't worry
about offending her, she's not worth it, concern yourself with your
wife & children, they're the important ones, not the bitch.

With ten big one's under the belt. let me see House, kids. retirement saving's , bikes, boat ect. ect. for an hour of strange? makes no sense. maybe she's one of them swinger's or something. just say NO NO and NO. and that she should bring it up with the wife. because I all ready have reported it to her. and yes be perpared to defend your self because you might be accused of coming on to her.

HOW about this. If you go with 70marlins advice, SHE will get herself in trouble. Tell her (as marlin said) to talk to your wife and explain herself so that she and your wife can iron it out. Tell her you wife already knows and that your wife wants to talk about it. You might want to have some help because I doubt your wifes "friend" will have a chance of getting out alive.


Also, you never said, is this girl married?

I'm with MikeT. I'd like to see how this all plays out. And 70Marlin hit the nail on the head--a half hour of strange definitely ain't worth all you've worked for over the years!

I've been there, though not with the little woman's friend. Some skank at the bar I was working as a bouncer at decided she wanted in my pants. And the wife was there as well! This chick gets after me in the hallway, and I turn her down. I told the (then future) wife about it right away! Then I had to hold her down so she wouldn't go beat the tar out of the other gal!:eek:

I never did figure out what anyone would see in this big ol' gorilla anyhow. She must've been beer-gogglin' me!;)

Yes men are pigs!!! I'm a pig! We are all PIGS in the eyes of women.. even the ones that would argue this point .. your a pig too. Apparently your a very strong pig, but no matter what you say you will look guilty... Most men have a way of looking guilty for stuff they aren't even aware of.. but don't make matters even worse by letting your wife confront you.. you need to confront her. Worst case scenario she loses a long-time friend.. so what... if I had a friend who was hitting on my wife - he'd be better off in disguise as Osama bin Laden!!

Do yourself a favor and tell her.. now! Hopefully you've already done so. I know it's sick but you've already got us involved.. let us know what happens!

Told the wife last night. She wasn't totally surprised, and she said she wasn't too worried about it, because she trusted me and knew I would never cheat on her.:) That really made me feel good! She will talk to her friend tomorrow...:eek:

J/k Spanky. Good choice on telling your wife about the whole deal before she found out second hand.

Did some one say, "Bring your wife some flowers tomorrow. She deserves it"? I think I heard that right, and don't be cheap either. Spend some dough. Between all us guys, we all know flowers are a true waste of money especially when you can buy a new tire for what they charge, but get a good bouquet this time.

PS Don't give her the flowers until after she confronts her "friend", because if you do, your wife might be a little easy on her.

I don't know about the flowers and a super nice date. Might raise the suspicion of your wife. Why is he buying me flowers for something my friend did? He shouldn't have anything to apologize for if nothing happened between them? What is he feeling guilty about? Maybe they really did have something going on between them?

There are a million other conclusion she could come to as well.

Me personally would wait a week or two before doing something like this and be a little more subtle about showing your thanks.
