Maybe he told his wife, she shot him and buried him in the woods behind the house.

Now, what we have to wonder, is when we see ole' Spanky logged on next time if it's actually him or his over the edge ax murderin' wife trying to figure out who gave him all these ideas...

OH CRAP!!! :scream: we're all gonna die!!!!

Well put; tho don't stop there - don't worry: us guys will never have you gals figured out  - perhaps nor will you us, but being the simpletons we are, at least it's not that difficult for ya. :D

I was affected by this screwy "disease" when we first married; every so often my wife would get livid after we came out of stores "you didn't see her coming on to ya!" I honestly didn't,nor did I take pleasure in it (didn't know it was coming - really: I have my own life to live & care little what strangers think/say/do on the spur of the moment - established, credible friends like those I meet thru DRN are tops) but it happened (the lectures) enough to where I honestly tried to stay outta sight, having as little to do w/store-counter gals as possible. (There's really no grounds for it as she's an 8; now why have hamburger when standard fare is filet mignon?) And I don't consider myself much of a looker, nor did this have any affect on my business dealings on my own; if it did go on, then I was oblivious to it.

It's what GSR said, & another twist (or mindset), in that: "if I can't be happy (with a guy, like you), then by golly, I'll make sure you're not!"

Spanky: is this gal (miserably) married/in a relationship or has difficulty making them last?

Now hows it doing? Your wife gonna dump her? This is why my wife has few friends; says she just can't trust them, & I believe her - seems a few close ones were gone once they mentioned me in their conversations with her - I guess it's that "committed, faithful, supporting husband" image (?) they want to experience/have for themselves. Thing is, when these predators finally get what they pursue, it's never quite what they imagined...

Glad you passed the test so far, that youre a real man, one of integrity. Would there were more (I suspect, in the majority) that make up this county.

Placelast-----you just reminded me of another game some women like to play--it's called, "let's flirt with the husband in front of his wife and see if I can get a response." And I'm like you; the wife says, "did you see that, how she was..."etc., and I'm like' "Duh, nope.."
:)

Well, they had their little talk today. My wife's friend just tried to downplay it as "innocent flirtation", and that I was reading more into it than there was. Well, I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree, but I know a pass when it's thrown at me. I think I'll just have to be careful to stay away from this woman.

HE'S ALIVE, HE'S ALIVE!!!

Of course she down played it. What's she gonna say?

Good job though, now you're outta the woods.

wow, this has been an enlightening (and entertaining- no offense, Spanky) topic...I guess the reason I haven't given my POV is that I just can't relate remotely to the scenario.
I watch women hit on my b/f, and it amuses me...I guess I'm weird! He tells me anytime it happens, I think it's great that other women find him attractive, but it's sad that some women don't respect boundaries...
You sound like an honorable person Spanky, as do most of the men on here...some of the suggestions were quite funny :) though!
I am finding this forum much more informative than I imagined!

FWIW- I would stay FAR away from your wife's "friend" . I would bet that the next time you're alone with her, she will be on your case wanting to know why you told your wife.

"I thought we had something special."

"We REALLY could have had some fun."

That kind of crap.:silly:
