bike choices.....?

sup everyone. i need help on this matter. i have friends leaning toward honda side and yamaha side. Here r my choices:
CRF150F
TTR225
DRZ125L
KLX125L
Im 5'8" and weigh around 145. I just want to ride trails. i live out in southern cali and i just take my truck out to go ride. Im just starting out. ive only ridden a bike once. i mostly ride quads and i was wondering if you awesome people could help me out. just reply. thanks tim

you're too big for all those bikes, and the TTR225 is maybe the worst pile of crap on two wheels.

if you want a tame, bullet proof bike that can actually go down the trails, look at an XR250 or TTR250.

Try a CRF230F or an XR200R. How old are you?

try re-stating the question. all the bikes you listed are flat out too small. i think at 16, and 5'8" and a buck45 the XR or TTR250s are good choices.

what's your budget?

my budget is around 3500 max. my friend can get me like a 20% discount on honda and suzuki bikes. So yeah, so an XR or a TTR 250 is good. im gonna research. thanks jermiah. some more info would be appreciated. thanks again. tim

I'll second the XR250. It's a good bike to learn on and still have fun with once you mastered it. They're bullet proof as hell too. You can pretty much ride 'em hard and put 'em away wet.
