Hey guys i need a little help here i have a 1989 yz250, i just put in a new top end and boisen power reeds, well my problem is when i put my bike in nutral or when i pull in the cluch my bike starts to wind up like my throttle is pinned open, any ideas why this may be?

maybe its lean on the pilot jet now due to reed change? does white smoke come out of your pipe when it revs up?
Does it do it when you first start it? Does it start easy?
Make sure the throttle cable is letting the slide drop all the way back down. Sometimes it gets hung up and won't let it close all the way.
Also check for air leaks between the carb and cylinder & at the base of the cylinder.
