Ok, new here,... I'm retired, and try to do all the work, on my bike, that I can. 2002 yz250....but used to work on MX a bunch when I was about 15, Lol.... But having everything un-hooked, and ready to pull carb, it was a b****, prying it out. Why is it so hard ? Anything recommend to me, putting back on ? Thnx !!

Welcome! First of all I'm jealous that you are already retired. I have a few years to go so n the meantime I have to squeeze work into my riding time.

On the carb, you can remove the 2 lower subframe bolts which will allow the subframe to rotate up which will bring the airbox with it. That is usually enough to make room to put the carb back into the boot. You could even remove the entire subframe to get better access but just rotating it up a bit should do the trick.
