Bike set up for smaller rider

A friend of mine that is 5’5” just purchased a 2004 CRF250R and is concerned about the height of his bike. Any suggestions on how to set up his bike for a smaller rider? I’m going over to his house to set his sag but that is about the extent of what I know how to do.

Chop some seat foam or buy a smaller bike...

I just did a search on "lowering" in the suspension Q&A section and got all the info I need.
