Hello all,

Just picked up a 'new-to-me' toy. It's a '97 CR500. Looking to have a great time with it.

I am wondering if anyone knows of blue plastics for it? I am interested in making it look like a YZ... Main reason for that is that I have an '00 YZ 250, and my gear is blue too.

If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. Oh, I did look on the acerbis web site, but they only list white, black and red for the colors of the fenders and shrouds.

Thanks again,

Rod

That's wierd that Acerbis doesn't list all their colors, cause I know I saw a yellow kit that they make for a cr, mayse try Parts Unlimited or White Bros. and see if they have it. Luck.

Just go with the black. It won't clash with your gear, it will look real mean/kinda sinister, and people won't think you have pnes-envy for Yamaha's.

Hell I wouldn't give a crap if my gear didn't match my CR (don't even own gear) color. I've seen plenty of riders with different color gear.

Haha I had that coming to me but what I ment to say is I don't have the fansy mx rider type pants but I do have a yellow AXO jersey from when I had my RM125, also a yellow, purple THH helmet which matched my RM, also don't care for riding boots cause I don't feel comfortable in them (but wear boots) nor do I feel comfortable in a chest protector. I have yellow riding gloves and goggles so I shouldn't have said I owned no gear but I ment (chest protector, boots, pants) :) :o

Heh I had to;)
You should try and find a comfortable chest protector man they have saved me from some good scuffs,

If I would have worn one my shoulder would not look like some skin covered hamburger right now (Oh yah it has been 2 years since too!):ugg:

you guys are freaks. Who gives a ****, what colour your riding gear is. I've been riding in normal trousers and work boots, and I'd make half of you look like ****. Just get out there and rip it up and don't spend half your life worrying about how you look for **** sake
