Does anyone know what ever happened to Bobby Bonds, he was rookie of the year and I haven't heard anything about him in quite awhile

He got hurt seriously at the beginning of the season and will be out indefinitely.

Thanks I heard he broke his neck but I couldn't trust the source of the info. Do you know anything about his progress?
