Well it looks like Bookoo Energy Drink just came under new ownership and they have decided to cancel support and funding for the Holligan Racing - Honda backed Supercross team. Unfortunately that leaves Brock Sellards, Josh Demuth, and Kyle Partridge without a ride just a couple weeks before the Canadian rounds which the team was supposed to contest. That really sucks for those guys, I am sure they could have probably signed on with another team or at least hooked up an Arenacross ride so they wouldnt be unemployed through the 07 season.

It's a shame the new ownership doesnt want to uphold the commitment to Supercross, I guess they are still sponsoring the Arenacross series, I wonder why they decided to back out of SX.

From the sounds of things they are over extended and had to start pulling in the reigns. The Energy Drink love affair is bound to have a crash sooner or later with a bunch of the bit players disappearing. I imagine the fact that Speed channel dropped the Reality of Speed tv show made them decide the ROI was not there for them with Holigan racing. The lousy part is they had already been comtemplating pulling the plug way back in July but do it now on short notice.

Last I heard was that Partridge had just secured a ride with the MB1/Tokyo Mods team and should have good equipment for West SX. Dave Antolak and Tuf Racing are helping Sellards short term and trying to find him more help to complete the AX series.

Yeah I heard Dave Antolak and Tuf were trying to help Sellards out with AX, but at this point he is out of the championship hunt because he has missed too many rounds and too many points. Which is unfortunate because if he had started riding the series from the beginning he would definitely have been a serious title threat. Not to mention Sellards had a AX season offer but he chose to ride for the BOOKOO team on the basis of a better overall deal. I bet he is regretting that now, but there is really no way he could have known that was coming I guess.

That is good Partridge was able to get a deal together on such short notice for the West Coast Series, I would have thought they would have worked to get something set up in time for the East so that they would have more time to test but that is good he found a home that quickly.

Anybody hear anything about Josh Demuth being picked up by any teams? Im sure if nothing else, some team is going to need a replacement rider at somepoint with the frequency of preseason injuries.
