brake pads rubbing

Hi
I put new brake pads on my CR 250 on the weekend but the rear brake pads seem to be constantly rubbing on the disc...
Do I need to push the brake piston in a bit more to prevent this?
I also found that the brakes were a little soft since I put the new pads on. Will I be needing to bleed them?

when you do a brake job you always push the piston in as far as it will go. If your brakes feel soft with new pads you may have sucked in some air, so bleeding the lines is not a bad idea.

Also, before installing new pads you should remove all the corosion from the brake pistons first.
When you install new pads the pistons get pushed back and often the corrosion or dirt on the piston and cause them to drag.
I would remove the pads, pump the pistons out a hair and clean them, then bleed the brake line. Also, make sure the caliper slides are free of corrosion and lubricated.
