Hi All; Sat. same time, alt. location. On 61 go past Hancock St. light. Go past Wal Mart light. Next available left , Darkwater rd. Then 1.8 miles on right ( 1/10 mile past crest of mountain). Maybe 100yds. in off highway,hard RH which paralells highway and takes you up to top parking area on crest.See you there early.
I am fairly excited about this area. There is alot of potential. It is out of the way, secluded, feels secure, and no illegals. And get this; some technical stuff to snap us out of that funk that we always, slowly, surely, regress to! ( The beatings will continue until morale improves. ) :bang:
Good news is that if we ride the new area long enough the old stuff will seem new again.. Oh no that might be a problem, ha? I also wonder if the guard patrols that area. With no one there but us it makes our trucks targets for theft.
Just remember. he's not there to protect our trucks but rather their property from un-permited riders. This new area is pretty remote which makes us an easy target. Just a thought.
We could always park on Burma Rd and ride over there if you didn't mind riding on Dark Water Road for that mile... or ride the coal area up to where we parked, we've ridden some of that before anyway. We know how to get over there, it's just kind of a pain, but definitely not impossible and doesn't take that long.
