I'm going to have to have a little talk with my bike about this! IT's always putting ME down and seems to have no regard for my safety! Maybe we should see a counselor?!

'Good work...if you can get it'

Sometimes you either feel, know or see that a problem is developing. Say a hill climb that you decide just isn't going to happen this particular attempt....in a case as that, you can 'put it down'.

But...(this from my personal experience pages) when your screaming up a single track, mountainside on one hand, nothing but space on the other, and you catch a laurel root that's just under the mud with the back tire @ WOT....you've got NO time to do ANYthing, except maybe have a brief thought of 'OH SH..'

Certainly a rider can develop a get-off ethic that's deleterious to bike health.

But there are times you have no choice in the matter.

Rees: Yeah. MY bike acts the same way at times. Let me know if you find a good therapy GROUP!
